The important work Common Sense Media has been doing since 2003 turned me into a fan long ago. Like many parents, I searched for content details – language, violence and sexuality – that my young son and I might encounter as we watched together. Since 2014, I've watched and reviewed more than 700 films for CSM. It's been a labor of love designed to prepare other families for unexpected scares and grown-up content and to spur productive conversations explaining a confusing world to curious kids.
