In addition to writing movie reviews, as staff film critic I interviewed actors, writers and directors (Julia Roberts, Spike Lee), wrote long essays on trends in the industry and profiles of individual artists. On the side, I wrote book, theater and music reviews and breaking news stories on the arts.
